smeghead Wrote:EDIT: I've tried several different mpeg videos I have and most of them make the program crash but 1 or 2 don't. Could it be something to do with the mpeg format I have the files in?

yes, this could be.. the demuxer is currently only able to demux system stream mpeg2 .. all the other files are not working..
ill have a look at your log files tomorrow, thanks for it..

Once this is stable, it will be a very important component of GBPVR - a great way to have client/server functionality like Sage TV has.

I tried the program. I get crashes whenever I try to change channel in Live TV, when I try to resize during play, after watching Live TV for one minute, etc etc

If I can ask you to prioritise when adding features, I think skipping forward/backwards in recordings should be on top of the list.

^bump^ -- any more news on this? I love using the early beta to test my gbpvr settings w/o having to walk back and forth to the living room Smile

I installed it on my laptop and it all works pretty well for me.

Can listen to music, view pictures, view recordings, and watch live tv.

Seems like the playback could use a deinterlacer, but other than that an extremely nice "alpha" effort.

Thanks for tool. Now I can watch TV out on the deck if I want to Smile

I downloaded it, and it works nice. Some suggestions:
- some de-interlacing would be nice

And how do I switch to/from full screen?

Hi,

thanks for making this great peace of software.

At the moment, it is just a "crash every 5 seconds" software, but I can see, that I will be great, if you can optimize it.

I hope, you can spend enough time to this project. It would be very nice, to look tv in the garden, bathroom etc. :-)

I wish you the best!

Bye,
Sebastian

Sorry, simple question on configuring this client :

How do I find out which ports to use in the config.ini file ? I don't know what mtp and rfb are !

BTW well done on this client. It's going to be a major addition to gb-pvr !

Hi,

the default-ports in the ini-files are correct:

server_port_mtp=8337
server_port_rfb=5906

You only have to change the server-ip-adress and make shure, the windows firewall does not block this ports.

Sebastian

scorpion2k hasnt been here for two months, so I'm guessing this is no longer being developed.
