In such cases, I miss audio when looking at Live TV, or just the same when a show is recorded. (no sound in the resulting mpeg)....
have you had any success in getting rid of this issue, as I have it also.

Question....

I understand the HVR 1300 via GBPVR can record Digital OR Analog which isnt a problem BUT can i record DIGITAL AND Composite at the same time???

I have a Satellite input on the Composite (well want to) and record from Digital as well, is this possible?

I understand this means to inputs in GBPVR, one being "Nova"? to mean the Digital tuner and another i would name "Composite" to mean the Composite on the same card, but is GBPVR able to record from both sources at the same time?

This question is aimed at watching TV as well (record from digital watch from composite or any other combination)?

Ive not bought a HVR 1300 as yet but need to as Analog in the UK is being switched off (nice one!!!).

Many Thanks

You can not use both analog and digital at the same time in GBPVR (I think Chris.Day stated that pretty clearly above).

Not really - Chris mentioned TUNERS, whereas composite comes in after the tuner. I don't know, I don't have the card, but would contemplate it for the same reason - digital for aerial and composite for STB.

You can only use one at a time. There might be physically no reason why they couldnt be used at the same time, but the drivers dont allow it.

yup, composite=analogue. unfortunately there`s no way of sneaking a second simaltanious input intout into this card. trust me i`ve tried Smile

Ta, that answered my question, so all 3 inputs (Digital, Analog and Composite) can only be used one at a time, once one is i use then the whole card is "in use" so to speak.
Many Thanks

For those having more than one card I suggest also to have a look to this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=20998
still unresolved.
That means in case of multiple HVR1300 you only have the DVB-T and composite available because of something related to WDM driver makes the analog tuners behaviour upredictable.

hmm. I'm sure I've had an analogue (composite) input running fine on mine in the past - but don't hold me to it, I didn't ever use it so they're just installed as DVB-T now....
