Using the 'no epg' option will be why the EPG is not being emptied during the update on your machine.

I'll change it in the next release so that this 'no epg' option doesnt stop the EPG from being cleared. It currently thinks something must have gone wrong when updating the EPG for those capture sources since it found no listings.

Ah! Yeah, this sounds plausible. Ok, i am waiting for a new release ^^ I could live till now with this and will make some days or weeks more, too ;-)

Thank you, sub Smile

Sub,

Unfortunately, that will not solve the same issues that I have (as discussed earlier in the thread). I have two capture sources (PVR150 and Nova-T) both of which are linked to the same XML file. Whenever the TV station alters the schedules then I get both sets of information overlayed on top of each other.

However, if I manually emoty each episode guide and then reload them, there is only the correct listings shown

Do you have the "complete epg reload" checkbox checked in config-capture sources tab?

Yes...

The situation is worse when the overwritten schedule event is one of my recurring recordings as in that instance, I cannot even just empty the whole guide manually, but also need to edit the access database to remove references to the recording (i havent done this sine the upgrade to SQlite as I dont know how to do it)

Post the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log that covers the last automated EPG update and I'll take a look.

Can you give me a example of a show, and possible a screenshot like shinningdragon did?

Hi Sub, Here is my scenario.

One capture source defined : Pvr-150
Update EPG using automatic update at 3am. Wake Machine and Complete EPG update are ticked. I use XMLTV.

I have a number of reoccuring recordings. Record Type: Record Season (all in this weekly timeslot, this channel)

It seems like any time this scheduled program moves from its original timeslot, it causes a conflict. To resolve the conflict I cannot just look at the EPG guide, since I cannot tell which one is the correct one... see attachment.. so I must check the paper or web source for the XMLTV program. (UK: Radio Times)

I have also included my last GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log.

/Dan.
