I am trying the same thing and ran into the same error halcut had. When I scan, I only get a few unknown channels like unknown1, unknown2 etc, I use the same settings as in Mytheatre for LOF and I tried the latest transponder files from joshyfun and also tried the same trnasponder files I was using with Mytheatre with the same results. any ideas?

Nothing more than what was discussed in this thread. I not exactly sure what changed for halcut to go from no channels (or only a few 'unknown' ones), to a good list minus the HD ones (which was addressed with subsequent patch). I think he mentioned plugging in the other satellite dish he had - though I'm not sure of the difference between this and the last dish he was using.

I'm happy for you to also post one of those c:\psi.log files I mentioned earlier in the thread.

What card you using?

No diseqc switch?

I am not trying to scan dish satellites right now as I am working on getting BEV working. However even for BEV I had issues scanning all channels especially HD channels which was fixed by using a patch file for psiparser.ax that sub gave.

I am going to rescan dish satellites with that file once I have BEV up and running. In the meantime u can try using it.

I have 2 dish pointing to 2 different satellites. After having channel scanning issues with echostar satellite I tried the same thing with BEV dish and got some channels minus HD which was subsequently fixed by the patch. Didn't do anything special.

I tried using the patch, but am getting the same results when scanning. I am picking up about one unknown channel per transponder.
halcut if you are successful in scanning them let me know. I cannot use the transponder files from joshyfun directly, they need to be modified. The trnasponder list from joshy fun doesn't bring in any channels during the scan, but the modified files which are used by mytheatre brings in these couple of unknown channels.

I also have dishpro system and use josh's files as it is atleast for bev and it works fine. I think only difference is that his files are in Mhz.
