At the root level of libraries could you somehow avoid testing until the directory is entered? All my drives and shares wake up unnecessarily and it takes up to 30 seconds to enter the local drive. Martin

This is a +1 from me if it was possible as I have the exact same issue as Martin, there have been time I have just decided not to enter a library as I know I will have to wait for ages even though the drive I want is already awake & would take no time to access.

You could see if this helps your Daemon tools setting and playback of .iso files.

It does not looking good.

That's all. No activity on daemon tools, the virtual drive stays empty. I repeated it 4 times, everytime the same.

Hmm, I get real settings there, and the browse button works fine for me. Can you zip and attach your config.xml file?

My guess is that it's looking for any folder.jpg inside that folder to see if there is cover art to display.

The only thing that works is, that you can browse the path to daemontools in the dvd menu.

Probably if it means turning off all metadata I would still be interested.

Ah, I didnt notice that. Its only supposed to be on the DVD panel. I originally considered placing on Misc, but then decided to create a dedicated DVD one. I must have forgotten to remove it from Misc. The attached patch removes the non-functional one on Misc.

I'm using the same version here and it seems to be working.

Does it make any difference if you manually unmount your Daemon tools drive before you try? ie, if you had nothing mounted in daemon tools, then tried to watch a .iso, do you then see the iso mounted in daemon tools? (even if playback didnt start)
