You need to download some third party software for creating your XMLTV files. You can then configure your GB-PVR capture source to XMLTV EPG source, and point it at your XMLTV file.

I'd back up your database first, then drop and recreate you capture sources. Its not really safe change the EPG source - you might end up with dupicate channels.

Create an UpdateEPG.bat containing the single line below:

gbpvr.exe -OnlyEmptyEPG

What kind of 3rd party software ?

if i don't used xml should i still have

Dont do this if you're using the built in zap2it EPG plugin, it'll cause problems.
