SearchLite Plugin for N-PVR

I've started using Searchlite to gather show images. I use I-xmltv to enhance my epg data, which includes adding _* to the title of new episodes. So many of my recordings look like "Castle *". When I "Get Cover" with searchlite for one of these shows it adds a space to the end of the name, so that it does not appear with the show, unless the space is removed.

I previously used a utility (wizimagegrabber I think) which created two image files for each show, one with two spaces after the name and one with none. This worked in gbpvr. It seems in nPVR that the spaces (one or two) are not needed. The image with no space appears for shows with _* in the title.

Can searchlite be made to remove the space at the end of the image file name? The xml file also has a space, I don't yet know what impact that has.

Also, Castle is a show for which I get an incorrect image, along with Rules of Engagement, which gives me the movie image.

Ok I will get an update that trims spaces after I finish watching TV for the evening. The space at the end probably only impacts SearchLite, it will load these files cached in Media\Show rather than going online

Castle will be a challenge because it is not a unique show name, like V and several others. Your best bet would be to unique search Caste (2009) and then rename the cache.

Rules of Engagement should work, I will try later, maybe you got a hit when TVDB.org was down. Deteting the cached copy could help.

I can't test how this works on removing trailing spaces so let me know.

However I did get Rules of Engagement fine and searching Castle (2009) does find the cover.

Thanks for checking. I have to figure out if there is impact on other characters that that MS-based filesystems won't allow. (cleaning M*A*S*H* to MASH is done for saving, but for the search right now is will be M*A*S*H)

Another bug, when I use Searchlite to set a Season Recording (all episodes on this channel), it only sets up a recording for the next day instead of every day.
example: show on Tues, recording set only for Wednesday not any day show is on.

Nobody, it's not quite a bug (or two). I forgot I wanted this option to be this day, any time which doesn't exist in NPVR, to handle sporting events etc that I was finding but I copied the text from the NPVR recording screen.

As for the day being wrong are you seeing this in NEWA? If the date is correct on the NPVR Recording screen I think NEWA is showing the wrong day based on GMT.

Edit: To simplify things I have just kept this option the same in SearchLite as in NPVR, I don't think the NEWA web service handles what I want properly anyway.
