In that case we all hope you can find time no matter how soon or late to look at it. In the mean time I hope there are improvements in the PVR150 drivers and Merrypigs' mpg2srt or any other improvement.

OK. Installed the 25037 drivers on my two 150s and applied the timestamp regfix to be sure.

I applied the 'enable CC' reg file : http://www.cask-of-amontillado.com/pvr_r...Captioning

Enabled the Intervideo codec and enabled CC in GB-PVR config.

When I'm in LiveTV, and then pause to start Timeshift, and then play. I have CC. Cool

Is one of the issues that you are trying to work on getting CC to display with straight through LiveTV?

And when I record a program, the CC is embedded and plays back correctly.

Sure wish I could turn on and off the CC real time...

I'll give mpg2srt a shot, and see it on the MVP

The trouble is that you have to rebuild the graph with or without the cc connection. That involves stopping playback. Direct show does have a provision for dynamically rebuilding without stopping the graph but apparently it isn't that well supported in peoples filters.

In GBPVR, SRT Viewer enabled, whenever I try to view a video that has an associated srt file if get this:

That's either AVI or MPG. I've been able to get the CC to play on the MVP though the sync is off quite a bit...

If I press Yellow or CTRL_Y , I can enable or disable the subtitles, and subtitles display on top of this stuff...

In another example:

You can see the subtitles at the top in the weird flipped images. And the actual subtitle is displayed over it all. Note the extra tags...

Now if I disable the subtitles, the main subtitle disappears, but the stuff at the top doesn't... Have no idea what's going on there...

I think the weirdness with the multiple images is a horizontal sync issue. When I play mine connected to an NTSC TV it works fine. No sync issue. Canada is NTSC also so it seems weird. What display are you using?

And it still happens with all captioning off. I should say, this was happenng right from the beginning when I was working on SRTs and ZProcess... Never commented though..

Anyway, as long as there's a srt file in the directory, I get the screwed screen...

I'm using a computer monitor, CRT set to 85 hz. Never had a problem viewing a variety of vids...

I know it's not a solution, but what happens if you set the monitor to 60hz.

zehd, what video decoder are you using there? It could either be that, or if you have an nvidia video card then it could be the nvidia aspect ratio bug.

You also have two things trying to show the SRT. GB-PVR is one. DirectVobSub is probably the other.

Sub, I have a ATI card, using Intervideo decoder. Within config, I have both CC and SRT support disabled. Screen refresh 85 hz (same trouble at 60hz)

If I have an associated SRT file, and this happens. I rename it to something else, no problem.

FFDSHOW is installed but no video settings selected... It's not active when a MPG2 is played...

zehd, I dont know. I'd have to put it down to either the version of the intervideo decoder you're using, a bug with its hardware acceleration, or ffdshow generating that garbage.

You definitely have something like vobsub that generating subtitles as well though, which will need to be disabled or you'll see two sets. There is the slightly possibility it plays some part in this corruption you're seeing (since vobsub processes each frame of video to write its subtitles onto the video itself).
