Well I have to say, I'm at the end of this. I tried your files and it still worked fine for me. It did appear though, that I contracted a virus at about the same time. I put back my original files and fixed the virus good.

The first error happens at a point when I try to write a value into a Combo Box, something I have done in code hundreds of times. Indeed, the program does that several times before the error, so I have no idea...

I appreciate you patience. And I have been able to track down several other bugs while troubleshooting for you. But I'm gonna have to call it quits. Sorry

The virus was not related to my files, I hope?
I just did a virus check with Kaspersky online scanner and it did not find anything. And some of these files just came from your site actually, as I updated few from the wiki page.

I will do a test with your files later, but I guess it won't solve the problem. I wanted to use your program in GB-PVR to add borders for widescreen output on non-widescreen TV, and support subtitles, but I guess that I will have to find another solution then Sad
Thanks for having tried to fix that problem, I appreciate it, even if it was not solved for me Wink

The coincidence is too funny, but I'm pretty sure the virus was not from you... !

Yes, what you want it for is exactly what ZProcess does well. I hesitated to suggest this but you might consider that if this program isn't working too well, it might be a symptom that something else is kinda out of whack. I wonder what would happen on a newly done machine?

I could try on Virtual PC and see if it works better. Or try on my other PC. I guess that both would work.
I think that all other program work fine on my PC, including few made in VB.
It is for sure just a problem with some installed program/driver/codec/... Only question is "which one" Big Grin
I already had similar weird cases myself (I also program, but in Delphi) : a user with same motherboard, CPU, videocard AND version of videocard driver as me had an infinite loop problem happening at random in one of my programs, but I could never reproduce the problem on my PC (and problem was linked to videocard driver, as deactivating one of its features solved the problem).
