No, I havnt connected to his machine to look. Still waiting on connection details. The offer is still there for any HVR-2250 users that can get channels in WinTV but all or most are missing in GB-PVR.

I installed the new config.exe, deleted my cache file, did a rescan, and all or most of the channels I receive now showed up (haven't actually done a side by side comparison with WinTV, but at least I am getting the elusive 86.3 (ABC-HD) I was hunting for!). I'm wondering if the old cache file was giving it fits? Anyway, I am good to go now, however, now it will not let me record two analog channels at the same time (no tuner available) - seems to work fine on two digital channels. I will clear my logs and try again tonight, if still an issue, will post my logs (to a new thread)

I totally reinstalled so I can find out if I can record 2 analog at the same time as well as back to back. I've been having problems with this since I got this card. Still think the analog side is not as good as the PVR500 I took out.

Did you remember to set your two analog capture sources as device #1 and device #2?

Here's the logs. Also, I did delete the scan cache file that Mike suggested but got zilch out of it.

Has anyone tried any of the Beta 2250 drivers that are talked about on the Web to see if it cleared up the SD blue screens? I haven't been able to find anything but dead links.

I'm using the beta drivers and have been for a few weeks. I'm not exactly sure if your question on blue screens is the same problem I'm having. Example-last night I recorded the Terminator program at 7 and nothing else at that time frame. The next recording was at 8 on a different channel but since the time overlapped with padding, it choose a different tuner. Terminator was a short file but it only recorded a light blue screen. Heroes was fine though did have some artifacts at times (didn't watch all of it but fast forwarded through to check it.)
It doesn't seem to matter what order the tuners are in...sometimes the first program is fine and the second is not.
However, if a manually record one channel, switch to another and manually record that one, it's all good.
My PVR500 never, ever gave me these problems. Finally, I still don't feel that the analog quality of my 2250 is all that good and I'm only keeping it to use the QAM side for now. (sorry for the long post and the possible hijack of your topic)

Sort of off topic.....I downloaded the beta of Windows 7 (which runs better than I thought) and installed GBPVR and only added 1 tuner, 2250 QAM. Ran the channel map using the default (not QAM Manager) and it found lots of channels. This is on the same machine but a separate drive than I normally use (triple boot Vista, XP, W7).
The odd thing is that the strength showed -20 and signal was 100 for all 138 channels scanned. It doesn't matter as I'm not going to use this OS but I thought I'd see what happens anyway. I guess the news is good for GBPVR and W7 going forward.

EDIT: I was able to tune 1 channel and then it crashed. As a side note, HDHomerun was able to find and play the QAM channels.

The tuning 1 channel and then it crashed is my experience now that I think is being caused by TV Pack. I also see plenty of channels doing the scan, but its hard to tell if they are valid with the crashing.

On blue scree with SD. I have seen lots of discussion on to what scenario causes the blue screens. I have not found any causality to when I get blue screens. I've never seen them in manual watch now. It always when it wakes up from sleep mode 3. But perhaps if I did more watch now viewing, I would see them then too. Very annoying. Other reported the beta's didn't help them either.
