New version 1.57 uploaded; image threading/caching and MyMovies.xml support.

The play button is now disabled by default and the cover image in slick has been resized accordingly.

Source code is available but the image-related sections are half baked. The next release should look better, especially if sub has feedback for me.

Not sure if it's just me but seems this version doesn't work with the new community skin beta. Just thought I'd let you know as works fine with Slick skin. Aslo would be good if you could chat to the CS skin guys and get them to include metadata for your plugin Big Grin

I know I am not up to date with the CS beta. Will add that to todo list.

The only things that don't appear to be in place with Community Skin are metadata and default folder icons in some of the views. Folder icons requires a plugin change on my part and metadata would need to key off of settings similar to that for "Video Library". Community skin support will apparently occur without any effort on my part though.

Fatman_do: Can this plugin be set up to use the same set of main menu icons as the default video plugin?

So from this comment, the only thing lacking is metadata handling? This setting that you mention, is this a skinable feature that is found in your slick version of the skin? If that requires a different skin, we can have those options as additional downloads.

jasonbs10 Wrote:The skin plugin allows you to change to slick but I'm not sure what would be required to have that affect my plugin.

Those "Slick" options are just custom skins for the default libraries to replicate features found in slick. They change no settings or affect plugins directly.

That is taken care of in a patch in the SkinPluginConfig in the BETA thread and will be included in the next beta build.

Developer support is appreciated, but not required. Big Grin
Usually just answering a few questions is all that is needed. Most of the time, minor changes to the blue skin is all that is required.

As a fellow 'skinner' (hmm not sure if I like that title or not) I find it very helpful if the developer makes a quick mention of skin changes when they do a new releases as it saves me having to download & compare the new skin(s) with the old to know if I have some work to do Wink

I try to avoid skin changes, but to recap blue/slick modifications so far: additional named fonts, @textStyle tags, StatusInfo item, resized/repositioned Cover, and resized/repositioned filmstrip previews.
