its working pretty much perfect, im have issues with skytv (they pop up, i fix them a couple days after), but if skytv.co.nz breaks down, ive got saturn as a backup.
i get> tv1,tv2,tv3,prime perfect
juice,c4,maori, sky > are from skytv.co.nz or saturn.co.nz

theres a bug in sky which occured on the 8th of jan. should fix this in a day or two, skys a real pain.

it serializes the data so only have to grab the new days.

so sky channels yes. with description etc. pretty much grabs every channel i could find in nz.

THAT would be sooooo cool.

really?
dont you just want to watch the movie?

like sure you want to watch a trailer for a new movie, but you could just watch that trailer by itself (eg episode 3). but watching trailers everytime before the movie starts, its kinda wierd.

No, because I would put all the THX logos in that trailer folder, so when I click on "Start Cinema" I will have one of the tHX played, followed by the movie.

Well, everything doesn't have a logical reason.

I want to play it because I'm still very satisfied with the sound system in my viewing room and I really enjoy listening to the THX demo because it shows in just a few seconds the potential of the system. (Surrond, paning and the low lever bass)

The THX sound and animation sets me in a good film-watching mode.

And also: It is more like the real thing, going to the theatre

Hehe, you don't have to get it, just implement it.

As I say to my fellow employers (i'm usually fronting the customer and they do the hard stuff): Don't think, just do.

Not a very succesful management method though. :-))

I have quite some preparation before we can see a film.
- There shall be popcorns, the light must be dimmed.
- The sound must be calibrated.
- I'm forcing my wife to go the bathroom.
- All the pillows in the sofa must be 'fluffed?'.
- On special occasions a scotch shall be prepared.

After that I'm ready for the THX logo and THEN we can see a film.

To be honest though, there are some discussions home around all this. My wife says that if she can't go and pee in the middle of the film she don't understand the hype around my home theatre rig, we could go to the cinema instead....
I respond that there is neither scotch nor pillows at the cinema....

Reven, some of us like to try and duplicate the Cinema feeling in the home, but without the noisy interruptions, sticky theater seats, and all those damn commercials they show now.

Also, you get that wow factor from people that see it acting just like a movie theater. Some people even have their systems timed so that slide shows appear.....and then just as the attractions start the lights dim...the trailers play...and then the actual movie plays.

Its just a cool cinema geek factor thing. [Image: smile.gif]
