Try this:

[DVBLink Tuner #1]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=DVBLink Tuner #1
FILTER_CAPTURE=DVBLink Capture #1
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2-transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=Input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

[DVBLink Tuner #2]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=DVBLink Tuner #2
FILTER_CAPTURE=DVBLink Capture #2
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2-transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=Input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

[DVBLink Tuner #3]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=DVBLink Tuner #3
FILTER_CAPTURE=DVBLink Capture #3
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2-transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=Input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

[DVBLink Tuner #4]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
FILTER_TUNER=DVBLink Tuner #4
FILTER_CAPTURE=DVBLink Capture #4
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2-transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=Input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

Only put Acamd in the plugin folder. It seems that no other files are needed. I am using a Technotrend tuner but also for this card the normally required dll for decoding was not necessary. Did you find the file to create a transponder ini file?

Thanks a lot. Yes I did, actually I was able to copy the one I made for DVBDream, which worked but I never got it stable (the dvbdream, that is).

Well, I can watch all the usual channels in the preview of the server configuration program, but when gbpvr tries to scan for channels (on DVBLink dev #1) it does not get anything.

Did you make a proper 0010.ini file from your other program or with the utility from DVBLogic? Here it works perfectly, only all channel names are Unknown1 as already reported.

I made a 5047.ini file, see attached.

That won't work. You cannot use your existing transponderfiles. DVBLogic TVSource is emulating dvb-s tuners with its own unique frequencies. Please use the utility provided by DVBLogic to generate a transponderfile for each of your tuners and use that in GB-PVR. That will solve your problem.

BTW: you will find all selected channels with their frequency in DVBLinkChannelStorage.xml. Sid, Pid etc. are equal to the original ones which makes it a lot easier to amend the Unknown1 channels in the cache-x.ini file from GBPVR.

Obviously my .ini file works, since I can find and preview all channels (both encrypyed and FTA), but I'd give the utility a try if I could just find it. There was no such utility in the package I downloaded... Can you point it out for me?

The ini file you used is only for scanning directly from the card, NOT through DVBLogic TVSource. It should look as:

[SATTYPE]
1=2000
2=DVBLink SAT #1 (200.0°E)

[DVB]
0=34
1=10320,V,28000,0,0,DVB-S
2=10330,V,28000,0,0,DVB-S
3=10340,V,28000,0,0,DVB-S
4=10350,V,28000,0,0,DVB-S
.............
.............

As you can see are all channels in steps of 10 because these are the frequencies generated by TVSource. These must be used by GBPVR and have nothing to do with the real transponder list. That is only used by TVSource itself tuning with the physical card. The virtual card is always an DVB-S card with special frequencies.

For the utility have a look here: http://dvblogic.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=8985

Good luck!

It seems we have been talking about different ini files, I get it now, I'll try the utility.

Well, I'v got it working now, and although it seems like a good idea I'm not really impressed. Apart from the already mentioned fact that gbpvr cannot read the channel names, tuning is slow and epg function is very poor, only a couple of hours of epg.

I like the consept, but there seems to be a lot of work left to be done.
