I've followed the previous instructions to create extra log files.

Create a c:\temp directory.
In the registry, in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\NPVR\, set the following registry settings:
LogDemux=1 (DWORD). LogDemuxFileOps=1 (DWORD)
Restart all the software, start viewing a channel, then leave it until the problems happens, then post the regular log files, and the c:\temp\demux.txt and c:\temp\file.txt logs

Then I restarted Win10 and started viewing CH1 "Crimewatch Roadshow". After 6-7 minutes the viewer failed. Extended log files are now attached.

Thanks yeah the timing does look like the original problem  You probably will need to follow the steps that you did earlier to confirm.

Also not related but this seems to be a common error you have been having and this is a file that sub doesn't distribute anymore.

Regarding the NPVR PES Collector filter error. Is there any action I should take?

Sub would need to post about the PES file, it is not part of the distro right now.

Did your restart the server? If so resend the set of debug log files so sub can compare with newer code.

I failed to mention the steps I followed. To be clear, in folder C:\Program Files\NextPVR I renamed the existing NPVRTSMon.ax and copied in the new version dated 23/02/2020 14:13 size 184KB. Then I restarted Win10. 

I have repeated the steps with logging turned on and the player failed as before. The new logs are attached.

I seem to be having the same issue here, while watching Live TV, NextPVR Client exits back to the guide without warning.  It's happened quite a few times since I installed V5 a few days ago.   I'm on Windows 10 using NextPVR Windows Client 5.0.1 (200209), I did an uninstall of V4, installed V5, and copied over the V4 npvr.db3 if that's important to know. Here's my logs if they help the situation along.

I was watching The Connors.  I have the "C:\Temp\file.txt" and "C:\Temp\demux.txt" as well but I'm having issues adding attachments here.
