Sorry, it just refuses to connect for me.

I'll remove it as an option in the next release.

Just thought I put this out here:

After considerable misery trying to get mpeg multiplexer working, i found that (if you have an ATI x1k card) I can just download the Avivo codec pack for my video card and it comes with the right ATI MPEG Multiplexer that works with GB PVR. Now everything's working including timeshift, record, and so on.

Edit: you need to choose ATI Mpeg muxer from the list of muxers. The resulting file will be an MPEG 2 file, NOT dvrms...

I'm currently not on a computer with this thing installed. it is one of those ax files in either the ATI multimedia folder, or an ati common file folder (should be in an ATI folder for sure)... But you can install it by going to ati's website. Note that this is NOT part of the main video card driver. It's separate multimedia package.

goto http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/ra...vo-xp.html
for the XP version of this. If you don't have x1k video card, the muxer should still work. Just install the codec (I don't think you need the visual studio stuff or the parental control).

If you can't install it, i'll track down the actual file... It works great for me... before with DVRms muxer, I can't enter time shift mode... real pain Sad

In the start time setting, there is an 'ASAP' setting which will cause it to do this immediately after the recording completes. This may behave slightly better than trying to go straight to MPG because the DVR-MS container provides a more robust source of media timestamps than the original broadcast.
Where is the 'ASAP' setting for conversion start time?
What, me worry?

Where it has the Start Conversion Between: and then 2 boxes to choose time from, if you click the arrows to change the first time, and 'ASAP' option is there.

You can download it from http://www.gbpvr.com/MuxChecker.zip
