Time for another version. This will probably be the last update for a little while as I start to add more detection methods and learning ability. The intermediate versions won't be suitable for public consumption. Of course, I will continue to release bug fixes if necessary.
I will, however, be taking private testers. Applicants must realize that changes and "effort required" may be extensive. Email or PM me to discuss it.
Changes:
0.5.9 13 September 2005
- SAConfig: Added "Test Connection" button to SageTV page.
- Corrected problem in SageTV webserver interface preventing pausing during recording or playing.
- Corrected problem with some settings not being properly used.
- The GetSize spin lock won't spin forever. It will eventually give up and exit.
- Fixed "invisible" mode.
- Revamped the log procedures. Now logs are created in the SA directory if something goes wrong before the file and settings are loaded.
This is a necessary upgrade if you are currently using 0.5.9.
0.5.10 16 September 2005
- Fixed bug preventing live scanning.
- Added version number to SAConfig's title bar
- Fixed minor memory leak #34391
- Fixed bug causing "forgetting" all the commercials found before a rewind.
How are users of the free version affected by new releases? Do we have to go through the two additional configuration steps each time we upgrade? I'm currently using 5.6 which supposedly had a fairly large bug in it (if I recall correctly).

Free version users should upgrade as well. Some changes only affect normal users, but some also affect the free ones. This is one of those upgrades that affects everyone because a rather major bug was fixed that had nothing to do with which decoder you're using.

Every time you upgrade, you should go into SAConfig and do a "Save All". This will update your settings files for the new version.
Before I attempt to install Show Analyzer, I have a few questions:
1. As I understand it, before I install SE, I need to move my Comskip plugin out of GBPVR. I then install SE and the 2 decoders from Avisynth. SE is installed in Program Files, as opposed to the GBPVR file. Do I have this right?
2. Do I need to install anything else, such as Comclean or Comskip Proxy, for it to work?
3. Once installed, how does it work? Do I hit play when a commercial starts like Comskip, or does it automatically skip the commercial?
4. If for some reason I can't get it to work due to my stupidity, can I simply uninstall it and move my Comskip files back in to GBPVR?
