dvasco Wrote:No, I haven't. Would you mind? Keep in mind Smoker and Pastro see errors in their SRT subtitles. Also, even though I figured out how to place roll-up subtitles to the left so they don't shoot-out to the sides they still don't display as good as CC. Therefore CC from a PVR250/350 is still preferred.

Do you have a small mpeg file with the rollup problem I can download?

Here's the start of the page...

I'll be adding stuff as we go. For now, what does SRT stand for?

I think the free online file sharing sites limit the uploads to 30meg or so, so my guess is that won't work.

I could open up a port on my router and turn on an ftp server and let you upload it.

Ouch that is ugly.. Using the line21 decoder instead of mpg2srt it is fine. Using the mpg2srt it's hard to follow the way it fills out from the center.

Right, it is a lot better by changing all 3 subtitles to loc=100 and align=Left to the subtitles under CompositeImage name="SubtitlesOnly" in C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Blue\OSD\skin.xml but it still isn't as nice as CC.

Great job! Srt is subrip - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SubRip

I mistyped "We also need the Yellow button and CTRL-Y notes for toggling SRT. " I should have typed - "We also need to note that the Yellow button and CTRL-Y are for toggling SRT" but even better would be "Toggle Subtitles - Yellow Button or Ctrl-Y"
