In my case tuning is in less than 2 seconds. I am using NewCS 1.65 and Acamd 0618.
I am not using the built in EPG but XMLTV. It seems that you can set your own settings from what channel EPG data is picked up. It should not be different from what you are getting now or you made a mistake somewhere
The benefit is in the fact that it is now very easy to have 4 (or more) dvb tunercards all working with softcam without too much problems in getting it running.
If you have a solution (and description) how to make 3 decrypted recordings at the same time from 3 separate tuners within GBPVR using softcam there is of course no need for me to use TVSource. My understanding till now is that within GBPVR this was impossible because only one instance of the GbpvrRecordingService is running, i.e. only one show at a time could be decrypted.
