any body care to help with setting up hip with the revision 2 mce remote and the ehome recvier with xp sp2 and gbpvr?
i can't seem to get any program to keep gbpvr in foucs with any remote function .

I'm having trouble too mind works but wont change sattop box have tried hip etc still no luck get a signal not strong enough error but the epg changes just not the topbox

I dont really know anything about HIP, so cant help with that, but dadnz - I remember you said you were on Saturn cable. Which model cable box do you have?

the q86 might be q68 hard to tell got it working on my tivo can give you the specs for the box i use on that if you need

Yeah, that box should be ok (havnt tested it though). I was worried you might have one of their older Jerrold boxes that dont do standard IR signals.

everything else works on the remote so the mse input is all good just cant be sending to topbox does it read the codes from a mircosoft program or does gb require its own?

If you're using HIP, then GB-PVR does nothing more than call "HipSend.exe 56" if you're changing to channel 56. In this configuration HIP has its own remote codes and manages the IR Blaster. You should be able to test this aspect of HIP entirely independently of GB-PVR.

having all sorts of probs with hip dont think it likes the new rollups wont even read the remote but will in keyboard mode but then crashes lol so given up on hip lol might just have to wait for a new update

wow oops drifted off there. anybody have girder file mce remote and gbpvr i just want to be able to launch gbpvr with what ever window is open goes away and gbpvr steals foucs.

yup sorry jj kind of stole your thread I know hip has a place where you define which app the remote is to be used in if thats any help
