Reoccuring Scheduler not working

I have the same problem with season recording with the version .96.12 on my main pvr, and has reverse back to v. 95.16.

What it seems with v .96.12 is that it detects "repeat" or can't tell the different that it is a different episode with the same name, so it ignores and not schedule future show.

I would like to know if there is a check on config to schedule all shows including repeat for season recordings.

I believe Ammon615's problem specifically relates to how he deleted and recreated the season recording. When you say you are having the same problem, do you mean with deleting and recreating season recordings, or something else?

No, that wouldnt be the case. GB-PVR does not treat episode with the same name as duplicates. All episode are treated as unique regardless of name and description.

Here is the problem with season recording on my system. v .95.16 picks up all episode of 24 on channel 52, but v. 96.12 only picks up half the episodes and ignores repeated episodes.

season recording of the show has more dramatic problem. It only picks up one episode.

Can you click the 'update EPG' button in the config app, then zip and attach your config.exe.log?

Can you see if you can reproduce the same bug (with a different show) in the GB-PVR interface? I'm trying to work out if this is web admin bug, or a GB-PVR scheduler problem.

cancel season recording for 24, then I reschedule season recording for 24, SBTN News, Winter Sonota using the GBPVR interface. Season recording for 24 only schedule half shows no repeat at first, but upon updateEPG all shows schedule; however, SBTN news and Winter Sonota got same problem.

OK, wait until the next release is out later in the week, then try it against that version. If you still have the problem, I'll fix it. The v0.96.12 release was a long time ago for me now, and my code has moved on too far to look into this area of the app and be sure I'm getting the same results you are.

Clean install of v0.97.7 without problem on my development machine. I went and tested the season recording (all episodes) problem of repeat episodes not able to schedule via GBPVR or the webadmin.

I believe that most of the shows I scheduled are like a mini-series which might have the same program ID number being use which caused gbpvr to think that they are repeated episodes.
