Then I have to disagree. As I said, if I empty the EPG, the only entries are the season recordings (and other scheduled recordings). If I then import the xml, I get an overlap of my existing scheduled recordings both one off and season PLUS the new time slot for the show.
I have checked my xml data and there are no duplicates and it would be just way too coincidental to suggest that the duplicates are always restricted to just the programmes that I have set for a season record.
Sorry Sub but this is a bug where the original scheduled season timeslot is always present and appears to be not deleted and then the new adjusted time is also being scheduled and not detected as the same programme.
sub Wrote:The complete epg reload logic, that deletes and reschedules season recordings, only occurs as part of the automated overnight EPG update. Clicking the 'Update EPG' button or running with -onlyemptyepg etc, does not perform this same logic.
What time does this happen? Reason I ask is that if say it's at 1am (just for this discussion purpose) and then I go and empty the EPG at 7am and reload, I'm not going to see this logic take effect until the following day after 1am.
I generally don't check my EPG at that time in the morning so the following day, another empty EPG and reload will in fact undo this logic will it not and thus leave us with screwed EPG data as the above re-scheduling logic (if it works ) will never actually be given a chance to take effect?
Can this be invoked from the command line as i'd love to test that this is in fact doing what it is supposed to be doing?
I think this is a bug also. I use the automatic scheduled update function with a complete EPG reload, and still have problems (conflicts) with reoccuring recordings.
The XMLTV data seems fine.

Any chance you might recheck the code to determine if in fact it's failing to notice that the scheduled season recording has changed because this really is what it looks like to me.
The copy of the first season recording is always there in the EPG plus it's picking up the adjusted time slot, this is where the problem lies.
Sub, I feel like a dog with a bone over this one. Clearly there are several of us with the same problem, we've all checked that there's no duplicate xml data, I've given a way to reproduce the problem.
It points to a bug...
It would be great if you could check this one out please.
