hi
so, ok - thanks to all for clearing up my questions so far. This now represents the latest in my series of stupid questions:
so, to watch a dvd through the MVP i need xdvd - this is all good. I mucked about with it and I can watch the physical disk or the mounted iso from the daemon drive. lovely. almost..
Xdvd only shows you the main title
however, what if i want to watch the ENTIRE dvd, not just the main title?
Im thinking about ditching my dvd player, getting a surround sound amp and connecting this all up with some spdif / tos goodness. now, in order to get this working properly, im going to need to get into the menu of the dvd and select the sound output type - DTS, dolby etc, but if i go straight to the main title, i obviously cant do this...
i get the main title of a dvd if i go to play or play title in xdvd
so, using xdvd and an MVP can I watch ALL of the disk..
the answer to this question will determine more stupid questions on hooking things up to a surround sound amp...
thanks from stupid land
Alastair.
