I used the Channel Logo tool to download logos and checked them to see that they are present for my channels.

But GBPVR displays only some of the logos in the TV Guide. For example ITV1 and Chanel 4 dont show logos, but ITV2, 3, and 4 are fine. BBC Two is fine but BBC1 doesn't show. RTE1, RTE2, and TV3 don't show but TG4 does.

What am I doing wrong. The logos are in the correct directory.

Thanks.

The channel logos need to have exactly the same name as gbpvr has for the channel. For example BBC2 BBC 2 and BBC TWO are all different. If the name of a channel is BBC1 then you need to have a logo with the name BBC1. Could just be there is a space in one of the names and not the other.

The channel logos are stored in the /media/channel logos folder in the gbpvr folder.

I hope I'm not thread-jacking here Smile

I managed to get all my channels logo'd except for two...
"Teachers' TV"
and
"TMF: The Music Factory"

I think the naming of each channel may be down to how they are listed on the Bleb/RT sites, but I'm stuck as to how to rename the logo file to match the channel, when the channel name contains non-Alphanumeric characters.

Can the channels be renamed within GB-PVR?

Sorry LesMcQueen, don't know the answer. But Huugs advice was great and I managed to display all my channel logos by correcting the spelling. Fortunately, the spelling is straightforward alphanumeric in all cases.

This might be nonsense, but try renaming your logo files so that they are the same but without the dodgy characters. ie: Teachers TV.jpg TMF The Music Factory.jpg

Hey! Some progress!

Using "Teachers TV.jpg" worked. Thanks BluesXMan

Renaming to "TMF The Music Factory.jpg" or "TMF" didn't.

Any more ideas?

I use Alan Birtles XMLTV Grabber, you can get it from here. This gives you the option to remove colons from the channel name, so that would sort this one out!

Gah! So it does. That'll teach me to update XMLTV GUI more often.
I'll play with it over the weekend - I don't want to mess about with my source and lose the EPG as a result.

Thanks again.
