During DVD playback, if I use the DVD navigator it locks it up as you previsouly said. But if I use Intervideo Navigator it says "Unable to Start DVD Playback". Here are my logs as well but it sounds like the same issue. If you someone to try something I am VERY willing to try about anything!
I'm not sure if it is related or not but there are some very strange messages in your logs.

You absolutely should not have NativeUtilities.dll, GBPVRBackendCommon.dll or GBPVRPublic.dll in your c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\plugins directory. This will cause problems. I suspect one of your plugins has installed old versions of these files in this directory. Delete them.

Can you post some logs that show an attempt to use the default 'DVD Navigator'? This is only navigator I recommend using with GB-PVR. Also let me know at exactly what point it locked up.

Hi, I'm also having exactly the same problem with DVD discs & images in 0.97. Playback is very slow and jerky (picture and sound) and GB-PVR goes straight into "not responding" in task manager. Also it can only be stopped via task manager as it does not respond to any keyboard/remote commands.
I've played around with decoders (there are error messages in logs about not finding defaults but it still fails even if explicitly defined). I'm not running any plugins (I've gbpvrtray installed but not running) and upgraded from v0.96. I'm using NVidia decoder and the single DVD Navigator option. WMP10 plays DVD fine and I tried again after running this with no luck.
Any ideas, I've run out of them? Thanks.

Can you try it again without the ffdshow filters enabled? These have been know to cause problems for some users, so I'd like to take them out of the equation. If it still has the problem, post the logs again.
Quote:22:46:30.453 VERBOSE Graph contains the following filters:
22:46:30.453 VERBOSE - Default DirectSound Device
22:46:30.453 VERBOSE - ffdshow raw video filter
22:46:30.453 VERBOSE - Video Renderer
22:46:30.453 VERBOSE - ffdshow Audio Decoder
22:46:30.453 VERBOSE - NVIDIA Video Decoder
22:46:30.453 VERBOSE - DVD Navigator

Disabled FFDShow for audio decoding and postprocessing. Still the same problem. Here are the latest logs. Thanks.

Can you try setting <SaveGraphFiles>false</SaveGraphFiles> in config.xml to see if it helps? If not, repost the logs again.

If you're on broadband, is there any chance I could remotely connect to take a look? (VNC or similar)

Sub, per your request here are the new logs after removing all pluggins and switching to DVD navigator. FYI, it starts to play the DVD then basically locks up using close to 100% CPU.
