Quote:I presently use only digital tuners from HVR-1300 and HVR-1100 because of limitations imposed by GBPVR which consider the two parts of the cars as standalone (as a PVR-500) while they should be considered as one. Also in this case it should wait for future GBPVR releases
With the most recent release, the analog and digital parts of the HVR-1300 are treated as the same card, meaning you cant schedule two recordings at the same time, one on each. This isnt true for the HVR-1100, because the Analog side of this card is not supported by GB-PVR.

Great! Since you wrote in the past that new upcoming release solved only partially the problem i didn't tested this function yet but i'll do it soon. Thanks and sorry for wrong information i've given.

Guys,

Anyone manage to get the HVR 1100 working with GBPVR (both digital and analogue)?

I did have a Twinhan card, but decided to send it back as it was a huge pile of steaming horse manure.

Went for the HVR 1100 as a replacement, but now wandering whether I should have spent the extra £25 for the 1300!

I know GBPVR can work with the digital side of this card, but has anyone released a plug-in so that it will work on the analogue part too?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Ben

GB-PVR supports the digital and analog on the HVR1300, but only the digital side on the HVR1100. You might be able to get it working with this plugin though: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=2753

I am using an HVR 1300 for about two months now. (only for analogue though)
I keep on having the problem that there is sometimes no TV sound when running GBpvr. (other sound such as My Videos, or music keeps on working)
In such cases, I miss audio when looking at Live TV, or just the same when a show is recorded. (no sound in the resulting mpeg).
The problem is also "consistent" in Gbpvr on my pc, or via my MediaMVP box.

Once this problem occurs, I can only fix it by rebooting my pc.

Initially, I thought it was caused by other software on my pc that would make the sound fail (eg. after playing a file with bsPlayer, or playing a directX game,... ) or after my pc had been in standby, but the missing sound also appears at other times when no specific software ran prior to using Gbpvr.

I read in some other replies to this thread that sound problems have been a known problem in the past. Does anybody have a clue on how to fix this (or at least getting a clearer understanding of the true cause) ?

Thanks
Jurgen

Hi,

I can add the HVR 1300 as analogue - using roslyn from the drop-down menu but there isn't a Nova-T option... How do I add this?

Thanks,

pondlife.
