Does anybody know where button texts and discription texts are pulled from.
I'm trying to complete the existing dutch language file. Some button and discription texts are not being translated, some are not even in the "Language.ANSI.DUT.XML" file
Putting them in there manually doesn't do the trick.
The only extra plugin I'm using at this moment is the weather plugin.

You need to have the "original text" (something like that, at least) attribute set correctly in each tag.
I'm not always right

I think I have, checked spelling several times ' and " etc are a pain in the @ss
but check, check dubbel check and, just to be sure checked again.
For instance there is the Photos (so NOT Photo's) description that says:
" view your library of photos " This entry isn't in the language file, when a tag for this translation is manually created and translated, there's no change (yes restarted GB-PVR)
So that's why I was wondering if there's an other place to look ?

Been There, and have updated some wrong translations, created the XML file with the build in macro, but still some translations are not being done.
So even that's not flawless.
Does anybody have a XML or text file extracted from the gbpvr.exe (at least I think thats were the english language file is being pulled from) so I have the exact sentences and words including punctuation ?
Or do I just have to write all the menu's down ?

There is no english language file.

If you create a HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\devnz\LogTranslations=1 (DWORD) setting, then it log a c:\translate.txt file with the strings it tries to translate.

OK got it figured out,
Some translations aren't in the language.xml, so if texts are not being translated put them in there yourself. One thing to keep in mind, it's important
to use the exact spelling as the original text including the use of capitals ! Secondly you have to toggle between your language and another one at least once in the config to get the changes visable.

As far as I'm concerned, thread closed.

Keep up the good work sub !

Would you mind posting your language file in the Language Plugin thread so these new text strings can be added?
