I am using a Matsonic MSCLE266-F motherboard with onboard 800MHz Samuel II C3 processor and an ADS Instant TV
Deluxe PCI (PTV-305) Blackbird style capture card. Although I get a ConnectPins failed! message when recording,
13:14:36.270 VERBOSE Looking for encoder filter
13:14:36.280 VERBOSE - ADS PTV 305 MPEG Encoder
13:14:36.340 VERBOSE ConnectPins: '656' to '656'
13:14:38.853 VERBOSE ConnectPins failed!
the resulting mpg file plays back fine on a powerful machine, but not on the MSCLE266-F. Because of its built-in
MPEG2 acceleration, the MSCLE266-F can play DVDs with about 50 percent CPU utilization. But the mpg file created
by GBRecord92 caused the CPU utilization to max out, with stuttering as a result.
I have tried reverting my quartz.dll from DirectX 9c to 9b version as I read about on this forum, but playback
still stutters.
I have uploaded a zip file with my GRF, direct.ini, and log file. Any help appreciated.
BTW, I am very impressed that GBRecord2 can capture mpeg with 12 percent CPU utilization on an 800MHz C3!
