I have just changed over to telstra clear Digital for the broadband but got the tve as well. I have been using GBPVR quite happily via aerial connection , but when I plugged in the rca connection from the digital saturn box and tried tuning in I got nothing.
Now just before I spend the next few days trying to figure it out has anybody else been there done that?
I have a 150 haupauge card
Thanks

Have you correctly configured your capture source so that is uses the 'composite' input source?

If you plug that same RCA connection into your TV, do you see the channel?

Its in the config app, capture source settings, edit the 'direct recording source' settings.

no.

The tuning assistant only applies to channels received through the on board tuner. You're not using the tuner. Instead you're using the composite connector.

Thanks for your help with this by the way

So how do I tune in the channels?

Sorry for my ignorance I have a little knowledge which makes me dangerous Smile

The saturn digital box is only ever going to outputting its current channel via the composite input. If you want the change channels in this type of setup, you need a IR Blaster. These are used to tell the cable box to change channels.

You setup a capture source, configured for composite input, with the EPG listing all the channels you have. Next to each channel in the capture source channel list, enter the channel number used by the cable box for each channel. When GB-PVR needs to change channels, it'll send this channel number out of the IR blaster to tell the cable box to change channels.

Hopefully this makes sense?
