config cannot start prevew window: ATI HDTV wonder

downloaded the program and installed - went fine,
config the HD TV channels, it found HDTV wonder tuner, then I when I try to "Map channel to EPG" under "Capture Resource", it gives me error:"GBPVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Check the device is configured properly and not already in use"

checked the logs, I see this "Input string was not in a correct format":, but I don't know what strings it tries to parse...is it some plugin?

Try deleting any *.cache files from C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\BDA

tried that, no effects, actually the scan*.cache is always 0 byte...

Instead of clicking the 'map digital channels to EPG channels' button, you'll probably need to set it up manually using the instructions here: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...HDTVSource

thanks of all for your help..

tried the direct config following your info, but live TV only shows blank screen, checked the logs, didn't see obvious problems..

also checked the decoder, I switched between Cyberlink and Nvidia mpeg decoder, no changes..

I see you have mediaportal installed. It is known to cause problems for GB-PVR, because of a directshow filter that it installs that aggressively forces itself to be used in other applications. It may be related to your problem.
