gbpvr 97.9 - exception during playback

I have 97.9 installed. Try to play back a recorded show. As soon as I select playback, gbpvr throws an exception. Debugging this in vs2005 shows the following error:
+ $exception {"Method not found: 'GBPVR.Backend.Common.ScheduleHelper GBPVR.Backend.Common.ScheduleHelper.getInstance()'."} System.Exception {System.MissingMethodException}

The logs don't show anything obvious but I can reproduce this at will so if you need them, let me know.

Sounds like you've got an old version of one of the GB-PVR DLLs somewhere. Usually this is because someone has copied one into the plugins directory in the past. None of the GB-PVR DLLs should be in the plugins directory.

checked the plugins dir. Only thing there is Myvideosplugin.dll. I disabled this plugin to see if it was causing the problem. No difference. I'll try a re-install and see if that helps.

Actually I remember there was discussion about My Videos having exactly this problem, but reven has an updated version on his website. Try temporarily removing the MyVideos DLL from you plugin directory to see if it goes away.

Where in GB-PVR were you trying to playback the file from?

Well I _was_ trying from playback, but since I repaired the system, I lost my recording entries <sigh>. Just enabled the video library plugin to replace 'my videos'. Seems to have done the trick. I'll check for the updated version of that (now if only I can figure out how to get my recordings back).

If you've done a Windows Installer 'repair', its probably overwritten your database. I cant really help you get that back, but you may be able to at least get your 'ready' recordings back. If there is a recording-dump.xml file in your gbpvr directory (automatically created each night with EPG updates), you could click the 'import recordings' button in the config app.
