help on getting tv channel scan and configuring the remote

Hi, can someone guide me on how to setup the software to watch tv, how can i scan the tv channel to start watch tv? + how can i setup my IR remote, i'm using wintv-pvr150. When i update EFG, it doesn't seem to do anything

When i go tv guide, it say no channel have been setup yet, but when i update EFG in the configuration window, it say i have to set my recording source. someone can please help me get this working???

Which EPG source are you using?

It selected when you create your capture source (zap2it, xmltv, dvb, bleb etc).
