Trial versions ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/dvd_decoder/ For FX apparently DXVA is supported, Hardware Deinterlacing (which apparently gives you a clearer picture) is not. Purevideo apparently does NOT support DXVA nor HI for the MX. See csy's post http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...stcount=28 k.

nv40 Wrote:okay...so what's the limitation or problems with the trial version? "Apparently" it runs out after 30 days ...but is not crippled AFAIK. http://www.nvidia.com/object/dvd_decoder...trial.html says Quote:This is the trial version of the software and will run for 30 days and enable all audio features To activate the trial version please use the activation information below during the installation process. According to http://www.nvidia.com/page/purevideo_support.html the MX is NOT listed, sorry csy ALSO not does "NOT SUPPORT DXVA", my typo corrected. Looks like you convinced yourself you need a new card... :p k.

I doubt, with that MX card, it will fix your problems, if my reading of csy posts is correct. Try them ... !! There are other codecs....

Um, did you type in the activation code supplied on this page http://www.nvidia.com/object/dvd_decoder...trial.html i.e. Quote:This is the trial version of the software and will run for 30 days and enable all audio features To activate the trial version please use the activation information below during the installation process. k.

jksmurf Wrote:Um, did you type in the activation code supplied on this page Sorry, i had missed that.....i got it to work now. Still didn't help with the video problems, if anything...it got worse. You know...some other posts have mentioned that this might all be related to audio problems, I wonder how many people on here having problems are running onboard sound? |
