I've gone through three automatic EPG updates since applying the latest patch, and no dupicate channels are to be found. Before the patch, I'd get duplicates with every automatic update, so I'm convinced the problem is fixed. Excellent work, Sub. Thank you.

Well two automatic updates with the two patches from this thread and no duplicate channels yet. I am still using the Access database, so all looks good!

sub Wrote:This is the only report I've seen of this. I cant be arsed even guessing what it is (long day). Try deleting your gbpvr.mdb file so it starts with a fresh one, then recreate your capture source. I too have this problem. I totally deleted my previous gbpvr before upgrading to the new. And ever sence every few days I will get a really messed up guide, And also in the capture scorces I get repeated channels over and over. I have to every 4 days or so delete the epg and redo everything. Even set up all my automatic recordings again every time. My zaptoit are all fine. Any thoughts? (Just read the whole thread and applying the patch, sory I jumped the gun on that one. I'll let you know if it fixes it.)

I have been having exactly the same problems (randomly-numbered channels added to the channel list after auto-updates, thereby causing the wrong channels to record).
Canada Zap2it Access GB-PVR 0.97.09 I have just: - deleted gbpvr.mdb - installed 16 Jun's patch (GBPRVBackendCommon) - installed 19 Jun's patch (DBPVRRecordingService) About to recreate my two Capture Sources (from Hauppauge PVR-500 dual tuner). I'll let you know tomorrow how it goes... Thanks! .../j
