GB-PVR won't play ball anymore - Freecom USB stick

Hi all.

I had been using GB-PVR (0.9.608, then 0.9.612), and apart from a few problems with out-of-synch audio on recorded programmes, everything was fine.... then....

GB-PVR stopped recording scheduled progs (just saying "failed"). Then live TV stopped functioning, sometimes locking up, sometimes just giving a blank screen.

So, I uninstalled and re-installed. Now I can't get the software to find any channels. Media Portal still works OK with the same device.

I've tried both versions, and removed the devnz folder between attempts. Still, nothing.

I much prefer GB-PVR to other programs.
Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?

Perhaps significant is the fact the at the LED on the receiver doesn't change from orange to green as it does when displaying video in GB-PVR or other programs.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look.

The stick I have is actually the Maplin clone, but it used to work fine in with GB-PVR...

Uninstall MediaPortal and it'll start working again. I'll be automatically deleting this problem component each time GB-PVR starts from the next release...

Thanks Sub. That did the trick - although I ended up removing Media Portal and GB-PVR, reloading .NET then reloading GB-PVR.

That will teach me to try inferior programs. I'll stick with the best...

Can I put my 2p in for the wish-list? I'd prefer to use the off-air EPG, but I couldn't get things to work correctly for channels not on-air at the time of a scan... Is it possible to detect those on a scan?
