Hello Sub and Everyone,

I'm using GBPVR v0.97.7, and my logs are attached.

The problem I'm having is the channels in the TV Guide some how get thrown into some random order. And when that happens, GBPVR records the wrong channels. However, the channels are all in the right order when I edit the recording source in the config utility. If I go into the config utility, empty the EPG, then reload it, then the channels are in the right order and it will record the right channels. But after the daily Automatic EPG Update the channels get out of order again, and it records the wrong channel again. It happens with both the XMLTV plugin as the EPG source, and with Zap2It as the EPG source. It didn't happen with the last version I had installed, but I don't remember what version that was, maybe 94.13. I don't have anything in the plugins directory, except vssver.scc which seems to keep coming back on it's own.

Can anyone help me out?
Thanks for your time!
Aaron

I used to be plauged by this very same problem. The only thing that seems to stop it from happening is to not let the EPG autoupdate and do it manually from within GBPVR. (System->EPG update) I know this really isn't a fix, but it's good enugh for me.

There was a patch posted somewhere recently that would stop duplicate channels being created due to a funny behaviour of Microsoft Access when commiting updatings to disk. Its also resolved in the new v0.97.13 release.

Okay, I will try v0.97.13 and see what happens.

Thank you!

You'll probably need to manually get rid of any duplicate channels you already have, but this new release will stop any more being created.

I'll be sure to try this as soon as I resolve my timestamp issues.

I don't remember ever seeing any duplicate channels. But I'll check it out and let you know.

I have another problem to address though, so I'm starting a new thread.
