I just updated my home machine to use SQLite. What I am finding now is that recordings are working but when I look in the built-in recording plug-in all of these recordings are listed as failed, yet they wre recorded and are on disk. In the logs it looks like all was fine, as best I can tell. Bit, when I look in the database, in the recordings_table the filename of the recording is set to the show name and not the file name of completed recording file and the status is set to 3.

Let me know if you need something else.

As far as I can tell (which is not very far), according to the logs you are still using access db. SQL-lite is not mentioned in the log. I guess something went wrong with the conversionSad

I mean to say I converting to using SQLite. So, the log is showing the right DB being used.

What did you do to update your machine to sql-lite?

So you do have a gbpvr.db3 now.
I guess you only checked the first checkbox in the database appl.
It's not clear to me how far you went through the process

I went all the way through the process (all check boxes checked). I have a full gbpvr.db3 file and it is populated. The new recordings are being scheduled and are being recorded, however they show up in the database as failed. The recording is in fact on the disk however and playable.

New recordings made after the database upgrade?

Can you make a short recording, then zip and attach a complete set of logs?

The recordings were made after the upgrade. Also, I changed the <PreferAlternatingCaptureSources>false</PreferAlternatingCaptureSources>
setting to true around the same time since I have two tuner cards and I only use them for recording (no live TV) so I would like to have the recording service make full use of both of them.

I'll schedule a recording when I get home tonight and send you the logs.

Of course now it is working fine. I wil keep an eye on things and if it happens again I will zip up all the logs for you.
