Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I'm getting this error message when trying to watch tv. I am using a All-In-Wonder 9600 which I created in to the direct.ini file. Here is a copy of the information for the card. Maybe something is wrong with it. I have tried multiple mpeg2 codecs with no luck.

i've seen a very similar problem today. When i go into my video library and click on a video file to play it, it plays fine. However if i highlight the video and move accross and press play i get the same error you have mentioned.

Anyone, any ideas? i've never noticed this error until the latest release.

Sorry, but you wont be able to get an All In Wonder device working this way. It lacks the requirement hardware MPEG2 encoder so is not compatible with GB-PVR.

You error will be unrelated to the post above. This is a very general error that can mean lots of things. Reproduce your problem and zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

the All-IN-Wonder will show me audio and video together in the tunning assistant. Also I get audio in the GBPVR program just no video. I'm not using hardware encoding I'm using software encoding.

Yes, the tuning assistant doesnt require the hardware MPEG2 encoder, but unfortunately the main application does.
