Digital Video Output

Tommorow, i plan on moving my tuner card and myhard drive to my new machine (much faster,sli video cards,19 inch LCD moniter,going to have almost a terrabyte of space for my tv shows.
Anyhow its been a while, and i remember hearing something about needing to change a setting for digital on lcd moniters Vs doing nothing with a CRT.
Something todo with the way the lines lay out on the screen. Can anyone remind me what this is so i dont encounter problems? Thanks

EDIT: one problem i encountered while trying to install gbpvr on this system i get a "not a valid windows installer package, contact program vender" or something like that.. whats that ?

unfortunately updating the installer didnt. Work.Any ideas?

No, I dont know.

I assume you've installed the pre-requisite .net 2.0?

yup. of course.. and even updated it. I just keep getting the message saying ask if valid installer.
Maybe this has nothing todo with it.. but it might.. its started freezing on installations from cd's after i had most stuff installed. I had to install one of my games thru online download. Id think the windows installer 3.1 i downloaded would have fixxed it tho

Its sounds like either your installer is stuff, or the .msi file is corrupt.

hmm ok i have version 3.1 installed.. wont work, but i just got it to work by "downloading" but not installing the previous version 3.0

getting this weird error for the radio player. On that note..My tuner setup pc has a old version of gbpvr where the radio runs fine. My brothers pc uses it for the net radio and has a slightly newer one which doesnt give radio station description or song playing at all. And this even newer one seems to give the error for this machine. Looks like something developped?

not sure what the error is. But i got it to work now? just by opening config a few times and not making changes.. not sure why its working.But then again i dont know what that error is.
