Error booting mvp all of a sudden

I have been using the mvp for well over a year and never really had much of a problem. I did notice it getting stuck at the loading application screen about a month ago but I was able to get it to work after playing with it for about a hour. Once the dongle is loaded it works fine.


This morning when the power went out and came back on the mvp stays at the loading application screen. If I disable GBPVR and turn on hauppauge it comes up every time.

I even tried using hauppauge to load it and then disable it and flip on gbpvr to see if that helps. It doesn't then it constantly loops trying to find servers.

It seems like it might be the TFTP server that is sending the data. Perhaps adding more logging around there. I will probably end up uninstalling and reinstalling gbpvr to try to fix it. I did try upgrading to the latest version but it did not fix it.

There isnt an obvious cause indicated in those logs. Have you recently added additional devices to your network? Usually if it has problems getting past the 'loading application' stage, it is because UDP being lost (not making it to MVP). The next release has a much more robust TFTP server built in, which will properly resend any packets that didnt get acknowledged.
