I have tried several times to get batch files, particularly PostProcessing, to work without success. I am trying something simple to start. Here is what I have:

comskip %1
Call comclean %1

GBPVR is installed in the c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr directory and the comskip files and comclean files are in the same directory. I have changed the comclean framerate to 2997. The batch files do not seem to run. I got comskip to work one time by using the checkbox in the GBPVR config for parallel processing but cannot get the batch file to run. Is there anything I am missing?

If PostProcessing.bat exists, it'll run it. You may find the current directory isnt the one you expect. You may need to change to the correct directory at the beginning of your script, or use full paths.

You can also use some "diagnotic" lines to figure out what is happening. Try this as your first line:

Code:
echo test > c:\test.log

That should tell you if the batch file is getting called.

Then:
Code:
echo comskip > c:\test.log
Right after the comskip line to verify that comskip is called and completes.

There are a few other lines you can try if you still have problems.

Code:
dir > c:\test.log
Will tell you what directory you are in.

I tried putting in a pause without any success. I will add the change to correct dir at the beginning but it does not look like the batch is running at all. Will the batch file run even for a Manual recording?

If you look in the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log you should see a "Running postprocessing.bat on: blah.mpg" message.

Well, it is now working. I am not sure exactly what I did to make it work but it does. Thanks for the help.
