When moving between channels on LiveTV, is there anyway to display the channel name ?? Currently, there is no way of easily seeing what channel you are watching without manually bringing up the OSD.

By default, the 'force minimal OSD for MVP' setting is enabled. This is because the MVP is performs poorly when trying to display OSD graphics and video at the same time. Its not grunty enough.

You can get it to show the OSD info every time you change channels, just like watching on the PC, by disabling the 'force minimal OSD for MVP' setting - but be warned, it'll slow down the channel changing process.

Is there any way to bring up a channel listing to pick from, in osd? Or is it best to switch between the tv guide and live tv?

cheers!

The Green button brings up the mini-guide.

I usually push the blue button instead of the green since the channel/show information is temporary and disappears after a few seconds. Feels like my TV's display/info button.

Is there a way to bring up the "maxi"-guide?

Cheers.

Not sure what you mean by "maxi" but the guide button/F1 key brings up the guide at the bottom. If you entered TV by selecting watch in the guide then the back button/ESC brings you back to the full screen guide.

Cheers I guess I should switch between the guide and back -- I take it the button press guide you refer to is the mini guide?

Smile (just about making sense of it all lol )

Pressing the "Go" button on the remote gives me the full guide with the BlueMCE skin. I believe you only get a three channel list with the default skin.
