Having read about it on the forums, I'm now running a batch file to boost the IR.exe priority a bit to stop the remote slowly going unresponsive, and also to raise the resordingservice priority to stop my games playing ruining recordings - both of these appear to work well.
I've experimented with raising the GBPVR.exe priority so that live (preview) TV doesn't stutter if some process kicks in in the background - but it seems I'm getting the opposite result. GBPVE.exe CPU usage goes sky high and the TV starts going jerky. What's the issue here?

I never fiddle with priorities. Personally, I think its a bad idea. I just leave all the processes with the default priority.

Raising priorities can cause problems as you may deny other critical processes of cpu time. If other processes (e.g. games) are causing gbpvr to stutter, it would be better to see of you can run these at a lower priority so that they only use cpu cycles when the cpu is idle.
