Config Help please

Hi, I just downloaded gbpvr. I know I'm missing a number of steps but I don't know where to start. I ran the tuning assistant and that worked fine. When I run the config prog. it doesn't bring up my tuner which is Aver M150. I can't seem to get the EPG to work and it says I don't have multiplexers installed. Under config when I go to Capture sources and click add I have no idea what to put in there. If you guys could point me in the right direction to get this thing running I'd much appreciate it.

You need to create a capture source, and set it to use the 'direct recording plugin' and select the AverMedia M150 as the card.

What EPG source are you trying to use? Where in the world are you?

it says I don't have multiplexers installed.

You dont need a multiplexer unless you're using a digital capture device. The M150 is an analog capture device.

I have video and epg is working but now there is no sound. Any suggestions?

Zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look.

I would be happy to, can you tell me where the logs are? Also the video resolution is not automatically fitting my screen, where can I adjust that? Thanks for all your help.

The logs are in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr. The log file of most interest to me is gbpvr.exe-native.log.

To me it looks like AverMedia may have changed the name of one of the pins used in their drivers, since the original card definition was supplied by another user a long time back.

You may need to compare the names of the pins specified in the direct.ini with the names used by your drivers. You'd need to use GraphEdit to do this.

I suspect its one of these two lines that are wrong:

PIN_CROSSBAR_AUDIO_DECODER_OUT=Audio Decoder Out
PIN_CAPTURE_ANALOG_AUDIO_IN=Input1

This M150 isnt a mainstream card, with very few if any users of it here.
