Failed recordings with DVB-T

I can't see anything on the forums about it so I'll ask - has anyone had problems with the signal quality being reported as -100 and the recording being 6K in size?

Restarting the recording service seems to clear it because 10 minutes later after restarting:

I know the signal isn't great, but it does it on other channels which have a much stronger signal. Is there something that needs doing to trigger a refresh on the DVB device or something that the restart does but a stop and start recording doesn't?

Excellent, that seems to have sorted it - several recordings on different channels of terrible TV done so far I think if I had to watch day time TV my brain would turn to mush!!

Hmm, still not quite, went a whole day being ok but tonight failed to record... Again with the -100 quality thing... It definitely seems better, is there anything else I can try?

Hi Kristan,

Also check that the channel name in your EPG XML file, match the names for your channels in your CONFIG. I had this problem recently and got th 6KB files. Matching the channel names fixed it.
