hi,

i just purchased a hdtv card and im trying to get it working. in the dvico software it works (cept for sound, maybe i need to connect the analog sound cable?) when i config the card in gb using this guide it doesnt work. if i try pushing the map digital channels to epg i get this error...

gb-pvr was unable to start the device you have configered. check the device is configured properly, and not in use.

like i said it works in the software from dvico. and no its not in use.

ideas?

thanks,
Mitchell

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Just so you know though, you should be following that guide on the wiki, rather than the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button, which doesnt work correctly for ATSC devices at this stage.

This is covered in the sticky 'how to post support questions' post.

As I said above, you you should be following that guide on the wiki (http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...HDTVSource), rather than the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button, which doesnt work correctly for ATSC devices at this stage. If you try the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button with an ATSC device you'll get this "error: input string was not in correct format" message.

How fast is your PC?

To check no other unwanted directshow decoders are being used, reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log.

I was after the gbpvr.exe-native.log file.
