This specific bug related to an 'active movie' video window popping up each time an ATSC user went to do a recording. This fix was provided as a patch soon after the v0.97.13 release. v0.98.8 includes that fix.

Its not always easy for ATSC users to get setup, but in general its sounded like everyone else has managed to get it working.

Does live tv correctly show these channels for you?

What is your I: drive? Is it a local drive, or network drive?

I wasn't clear enough, sorry.
I tryed 97.13 with a patch and now installed 98.8 but still recordings fail with two 5.5 KB files pretty often. (and I don't get 'active video' window)

96.12 version works fine.

You could try temporarily adding this registry setting:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Devnz\AddGraphToROT=1(DWORD)

Then stop the recording service. The manually run the recording service from the command line, specifying the "RUN" command line argument.

Now try to do a recording.

While the recording is in progress, run GraphEdit (google for it) and select the 'connect to remote graph' menu option. Then take a screenshot, and post it for me to look at.

Then clean up by: setting AddGraphToROT=0, then rebooting so the Recording Service normally.

Try the attached patch and let me know if helps with the recording. If not, post the logs and graph screenshots again so I cant check that it has fixed the problem I saw.
