sync problem with sound?

I noticed that some of my recorded video on my gb-pvr has sync problems with the sound. The people on the screens mouths are moving before the sound starts then stop while the sound continues.

Have I recorded at the wrong quality setting ( I believe I chose medium)?

Any advice?

WinPvr 150 CME
Windows XP PRO
64 meg nvidia video card
512 megs of ram
celeron 2000
256 gig hard drive

Should I be recording in the highest possible quality? How much more space does a 1 hour program take up compared to 1 hour recorded at medium quality?

Its probably something to do with the audio decoder you're using.

Audio decoder....sighhhhh.....OKydoky...I will now try and figure out audio decoder...lol

What do you have selected on the 'playback' tab of the config app for your audio decoder?
