My gear:

Athlon T-bird 1.4Ghz o/ced to 2200
512 RAM
Hauppauge PVR-150 WinTV

Immediately after installing this software (after installing all prior software, DirectX, .NET, etc.), I get the following error:

---------------------------

---------------------------
Error loading plugin list: System.ArgumentException: Invalid ConnectionString format for parameter "Password"

at System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteConnection.ParseConnectionString()

at System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteConnection.Open()

at GBPVR.Backend.Common.xcbcfc48b9705b7a2.xa19cc1d2df8cbd74()

at Config.xfd6951461fe46d87.x81464aef82823e23()
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I continue through this error, since I am able to. I follow the instructions to set up my card, then click OK to close the config and get this error:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I am unable to continue past this and it does not save my information. HELP!!:mad:

A couple of other users got this also when they'd upgraded from early versions (skipping the previous v0.97 releases). Does also apply to you?

Yes. I had failed to uninstall the prior version beforehand.

However afterward, I have done several fresh installs to no avail - I get the same errors. Must be some latent key in the registry tripping it up. I'm not a techie though so I don't know the first thing to do about it.

I wish I knew the v. I had before as a reference, but alas, I don't. It's been well over a year, though. Had been just using the fugly software that came w/ my Hauppauge but w/ a new room configuration wanted to set it up again.

If you set the following settings in config.xml, it might start working.

Code:
<DatabaseConnectionString>Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=".\gbpvr.mdb";User Id=admin;Password=</DatabaseConnectionString>
  <DatabaseProviderFactory>System.Data.OleDb.OleDbFactory</DatabaseProviderFactory>
  <DatabaseIdentityQuery>select @@identity</DatabaseIdentityQuery>

Ok, error time again - this time when updating the EPG...I logged in through Zap2it, signed up with the appropriate codes and everything, but then got the error at the bottom of the page. I do have all ports open to this computer so there shouldn't be anything blocking the connection:

Quote:(401) Unauthorized.
Sounds like you've got your zap2it username/password wrong, or your account has expired.

Apparently, it takes them about an hour to send new accounts to their servers. Odd.

Now - as I've already posted in another post - I have an error with it telling me "object reference not set to an instance of an object" whenever I try to watch Live TV, click on a listing in the TV Guide, or try to watch a video from my video library.
