Hi,
I've been searching and reading for hours trying to find how to setup my machine to automatically cut the commercials out and then convert that file to xvid. I'm working with a Hauppauge Win-TV PVRII 250 and have web admin setup and streaming stuff setup and it works excellent. Now i'm just trying to go the extra step so that the video files made will be without comercials and nice and small file sizes.
I've read about postprocessing.bat and parallellprocessing.bat, but cannot seem to find these files in my gbpvr directory or even anywhere on my computer. I installed this version on Monday - GBPVR09808.msi, and I'm not sure if it was made differently (no processing.bat files) or if I was supposed to make those and missed a step along the road.
My 2 big questions are...
1) How can I set up GBPVR to automatically cut out the comericals?
2) How can I set up GBPVR to automatically convert my huge mpg files to xvid (.avi) files?
Even if it's a link to another thread with more answers it would be appreciated, I'm just so lost in all the documentation.
Thanks,
Charlie
