hi all

im looking into getting a MVP but wanted to run something by any of you first

if i got one can i watch live tv through this ? or is it limited to watching recorded tv only ?

i have a P4 2.4 ghz processor - 250 gb hdd - 2x pvr 150's, and an ati radeon 9550 on my box im currently using to watch and record tv with -although its in a small case its still pretty ugly so thought of getting a mvp to replace it.

cheers

Yes, you can watch live tv through it, but it will take a two or three seconds to change channel.

cool - thats not really an issue i guess - would you say that performance would be better as well since they have a hardware decoder for mpeg streams ?

at the mo i suffer a little from mouth moving and audio sometimes lagging

Most people agree that they've got a really good picture, though some users find it a little dark.
